patience is a virtue (right?)
sg-1 - team!fic.
prompt: #2 - "stranger" [table]
"yeah, I guess it is pretty boring, as far as dungeons go."

Another day, another off-world dungeon.

"You'd think they'd manage to decorate these things a little differently from planet to planet," Jack offers, studying the bland gray walls of their little prison.

"Indeed." Teal'c's almost immediate, but solemn reply was a testament to his boredom.

Daniel looked up from the linguistics journal he'd been reading for the last half hour. "Yeah, I guess it is pretty boring, as far as dungeons go."

"What's taking Carter so long?" Waiting was admittedly not one of Jack's strong points, but simply doing nothing put him on edge. He smirked. Of all his virtuous qualities, he was yet to work on patience any more than absolutely necessary.

"I am confident that Major Carter will return for us soon," Teal'c said, eyeing Jack for his fidgeting, then the still closed door. "Please do not continue pacing."

"She should be back by now," Jack insisted.

A moment later, Daniel tossed a candy bar either towards or at Jack.
"This is the only time I have for catching up on these journals, do you mind keeping it down?"

"Fine. But next time we don't talk to the strangers with the pointy sticks, got it?"

heh:) They do have a tendency to view the dungoens. They could make a travel channel special on Alien prisons.
